My treatment methods

Positive Psychology

From the principles of Positive Psychology, this aspect of being present with clients builds resilience by positive reframing creating more positive perspectives which creates more positive emotions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Integrating mindfulness practices into our work together involves cultivating present-moment awareness, non-judgmental observation, and acceptance which is proven effective in reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety. Developing emotional intelligence enhances the ability to recognize and understand one's own emotions and others. This approach reduces symptoms of depression and anxiety, improves emotional regulation and stress, enhancing overall well-being and life satisfaction (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Trainer trained, many decades of meditation practice).

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Rogerian Client-Centered therapy emphasizes personal growth and self-actualization. In our time together, my aim is to facilitate an environment of unconditional positive regard and empathy within a supportive environment. This increases client's self-understanding, fosters self-esteem, and empowers clients to make positive changes in their lives.
