I'm Meagan Pruden, a Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for whole-person healing. My practice is built on one core belief: that you are more than your diagnosis. I combine clinical care with a coaching mindset — meaning I don't just treat symptoms, I walk alongside you as you work toward a life that feels whole, purposeful, and free. I take a holistic approach to mental wellness, honoring the connection between your mind, body, spirit, and daily life. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported — without judgment.

Take my hand and let's rise together! I am here to support you and motivate you during the hardest parts of your healing journey.

I am committed to doing no harm and to elevating every person I work with on their healing journey.

First session

First sessions can feel vulnerable — and I want you to know that's completely okay. You don't need to prepare a speech or have the perfect words. You just need to show up. You'll be welcomed, not evaluated. From the moment we start, my goal is for you to feel safe. This is not an interrogation or a checklist. It's a conversation — and you set the pace. We'll get to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you here, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping your life looks and feels like on the other side of this work. I want to understand you as a whole person — not just your symptoms. You'll leave with clarity. By the end of our first session, you'll have a better sense of where we're headed together and what our work might look like. You won't leave with more confusion than you came in with — I promise you that. You may feel lighter. Many clients tell me that simply being heard — really heard — brings relief they didn't expect. That first exhale matters. I don't take it lightly. And if it's not the right fit — that's okay too. I'd rather you find the right support than stay somewhere that doesn't feel right. My door is open, and so is my honesty. The first step is always the hardest. I'm glad you're considering taking it.

Strengths

I see the whole person, not just the problem I don't separate your mental health from your physical health, your relationships, your faith, or your daily habits. Everything is connected, and I treat it that way. My background as a Nurse Practitioner means I can hold both the clinical and the human picture at the same time. I combine multiple approaches — because one size never fits all I'm trained in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Supportive therapy. I read what you need and adjust. Some sessions we go deep; some we stay practical. I follow your lead. I'm also trained in clinical hypnotherapy If that word brings up images of swinging pocket watches — let me reframe it. Clinical hypnosis is a gentle, evidence-informed technique that helps quiet the noise of the conscious mind so we can access the deeper patterns, beliefs, and memories that are often driving your experience. You are always aware, always in control. It's not magic — it's focused, intentional work with your own mind. For clients open to it, it can unlock change that talk therapy alone sometimes can't reach. It feels similar to sound bath or just having had a nap where you wake up as though you slept on a cloud~ I show up as a real person I'm not a blank wall. I'm warm, humorous, direct, and I will tell you the truth with kindness. I believe the relationship between provider and client is itself part of the healing . And I bring my faith My commitment to this work is rooted in something deeper than a career. I genuinely believe in your capacity to heal, grow, and live fully and I will hold that belief for you on the days you can't hold it for yourself.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who is ready to be honest — with me, and with themselves. They don't have to have it all figured out. They don't have to know exactly what they need. They just have to be willing to show up. They might be carrying anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, or the quiet weight of feeling like something is off but not being able to name it. They may have tried to push through alone for a long time. They're done doing that. My ideal client is open — open to exploring new ways of thinking, open to the possibility that healing can look different than they expected, and open to doing the inner work even when it's uncomfortable. They're not looking for someone to fix them. They know the answers live within them — they just need the right space and support to access them. They appreciate honesty delivered with care. They want a provider who is real with them, not just clinical at them. If you've ever said "I just want to feel like myself again" — or maybe discover a version of yourself you've never fully met — you're exactly who I had in mind when I built this practice.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help you notice the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together we look at patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and we work to shift them in a way that feels manageable and real. Think of it as learning a new lens through which to see yourself and your life.

Faith-based therapy

For clients who want their faith to be part of their healing, I welcome that fully. Your spiritual beliefs, values, and relationship with God or a higher power can be a source of deep strength. We weave that into our work together — because whole healing means honoring all of who you are. This may including closing our calls in prayer or even prayer journal assignments to tap into your faith.

Supportive

Sometimes you need a space where you feel genuinely heard before anything else. I show up as a consistent, nonjudgmental presence — someone in your corner. We process what's happening in your life at your pace, and I help you build on the strengths you already have.

Motivational Interviewing

If you're feeling stuck, ambivalent, or unsure about change, this is for you. I don't push — I listen. Together we explore what matters most to you and what's gotten in the way. The goal is to help your own motivation come to the surface, because lasting change comes from within.

Solution-Focused Brief Treatment

Rather than spending all our time on what's gone wrong, we spend time on what's already working and where you want to go. I help you build on your strengths and move forward with practical steps. It's a hopeful, forward-looking approach that respects your ability to heal.
