I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York who provides a supportive, down-to-earth space for adolescents (13+), young adults, adults, and couples. I work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to help you feel more understood, build practical coping tools, and create meaningful change that supports a more grounded and fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your history as it relates to what you’re experiencing now, and what you’d like to change or improve. There is no pressure to share everything at once—this is a paced, supportive conversation. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and exploring what support might be most helpful moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as a therapist come from the way I show up with clients—present, collaborative, and genuinely engaged in understanding each person’s experience. I build strong therapeutic connections that help clients feel safe, supported, and understood, even when exploring difficult or complex experiences. My experience across a variety of treatment settings and levels of care has strengthened my ability to remain grounded, adaptable, and nonjudgmental while helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I also balance emotional support with practical, evidence-based strategies so clients leave sessions not only feeling heard and validated, but with greater insight and meaningful tools they can apply in their daily lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I provide therapy for adolescents (13+), young adults, adults, and couples navigating emotional, relational, and life challenges. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or caught in patterns they want to better understand and change. Some appear high-functioning outwardly while internally struggling with stress, trauma, self-esteem, relationship concerns, or difficulty managing emotions. I also work with couples experiencing communication challenges, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, or conflict related to life stressors and transitions. Across all clients, I support those seeking greater self-understanding, healthier coping strategies, stronger relationships, and meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps to understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors impact our daily lives. Together, we identify patterns related to anxiety, self-doubt, overthinking, avoidance, and emotional overwhelm, while building healthier coping strategies and more balanced ways of responding to stress and difficult emotions. This process emphasizes self-awareness, self-compassion, and practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT techniques helps to improve emotional regulation, manage stress, strengthen relationships, and build healthier coping skills. DBT focuses on practical tools such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, communication, and navigating intense emotions, and can be especially helpful for those feeling emotionally overwhelmed or struggling with anxiety, impulsive reactions, or relationship conflict.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness techniques help you to become more aware of thoughts, emotions, and physical responses without judgment. Mindfulness can reduce anxiety, stress, emotional reactivity, and feelings of overwhelm by increasing present-moment awareness and grounding. In sessions, we may use mindfulness practices such as breathing exercises, grounding techniques, body awareness, and self-regulation strategies to help feel more balanced and connected.

Trauma Informed Care

Many emotional struggles and coping patterns are shaped by life experiences and relationships. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and focused on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and emotionally secure. Together, we build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, process difficult experiences when appropriate, and work toward healing in a way that feels empowering and manageable.
