As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida with over 8 years of experience, I run my own private practice, offering online and in person therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. I specializing in trauma and life transitions. I provide personalized, client-centered care using a multidisciplinary approach to support individuals of all ages facing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and major life changes.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where you’re free to show up just as you are. We'll take time to get to know each other, explore what brought you to therapy, and begin identifying the areas you'd like to focus on moving forward. I’ll walk you through the therapy framework I use, answer any questions you have, and ensure there's no pressure, just a supportive space to start your healing journey at your own pace.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to help you uncover the root of your pain, insecurities, trauma, or emotional wounds, so you can stop repeating the same patterns and start moving forward. I use relatable analogies to make tools and insights easier to remember and apply in real life. My guidance is grounded in clinical expertise and licensure, not just personal opinion. Most importantly, I empower you to find your own solutions, supporting your growth with clarity, compassion, and practical strategies to your healing!

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I’m best positioned to support individuals who feel overwhelmed by sadness, anxiety, fatigue, or uncertainty, especially those who’ve worked hard, followed the rules, and cared for others, yet still feel unfulfilled or stuck. If you're feeling depleted, lost, or at a crossroads, and you're ready to prioritize your inner healing, I offer compassionate, non-judgmental support to help you navigate toward a more meaningful and balanced life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational approach in my practice to help clients identify and change maladaptive and/or unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By working collaboratively, I guide clients in developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and building skills to manage distress and navigate change more effectively.

Couples Counseling

In my work with couples, I draw from the Gottman Method, using evidence-based principles to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their emotional connection. I focus on helping couples recognize and shift negative interaction patterns, increase mutual understanding, and build a foundation of shared meaning and respect. My goal is to create a supportive space where both partners feel heard and empowered to grow together.

EMDR

As a therapist specializing in trauma and life transitions, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps clients process and heal from distressing experiences. I use EMDR to support clients in accessing and reprocessing traumatic memories in a safe and structured way, reducing their emotional charge and helping individuals move toward greater resilience and emotional balance. This method is especially effective for those feeling stuck or overwhelmed by past experiences that continue to impact their present.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

At the core of my therapeutic approach is Person-Centered Therapy, based on the principles of Carl Rogers. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and empathetic space where clients feel genuinely heard and accepted. By fostering a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in authenticity and unconditional positive regard, I support clients in exploring their inner experiences, accessing their own strengths, and moving toward personal growth and self-understanding at their own pace.

Psychodynamic

I also integrate Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients gain deeper insight into how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By exploring these underlying dynamics, clients can begin to understand the root causes of their struggles, break unhelpful cycles, and develop a more empowered sense of self. This approach complements my work with trauma, life transitions, and emotional growth.
