Hello! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist based in North Carolina! My experience ranges across several settings including as a therapist in a psychiatric residential treatment facility, outpatient therapist, and at a private practice. I work with teens, individual adults, and couples assisting them with navigating through various issues. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you!
During the first session, we will discuss the challenges you are currently facing and the goals that you would like to accomplish. We will begin getting to know each other and developing an understanding of what you want your therapy journey to look like.
I have a natural ability to form connections with people and I sincerely prioritize the welfare of my clients. I find various ways to remind clients of their goals and support them in conquering obstacles. I am a human first and make efforts to ensure that my clients are comfortable within the therapeutic space.
I look at situations from a systemic point of view examining client relationships and the environments that amplify the presenting problem.
CBT is commonly used to assist people with identifying thought patterns that negatively influence behaviors and emotions.
DBT is helpful for addressing a wide range of problems such as intense emotions and instability in interpersonal relationships.
I use the Gottman method with couples to assist them with developing mutual respect, repairing trust, and rebuilding intimacy to improve relationship dynamics
