Waitlist available! Hello, I'm Katie, owner of Anchored in Hope Counseling Services LLC. Do you identify as neurodivergent or suspect you may be? Do you struggle with anxiety or some type of mood issue? If you answered "yes" to either question (or both!), then I might be the right therapist for you. I have 11 years experience in the mental health field (and still love it)! As a therapist with lived experience, I particularly enjoy helping those who are anxious or depressed or those who identify as neurodivergent (ADHD/Autistic) who have co-occurring anxiety and depression learn to accept themselves and cope with the challenges of life they face. I take a person-centered, psychoeducational, and neurodiversity affirming approach, while Incorporating DBT and CBT as well. I genuinely love supporting people and helping them reach their full potential.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will focus mostly on getting to know you better-including your challenges and strengths.

My niches include kids, teens, and young adults, ADHD, Autism, Generalized Anxiety, Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder. I have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community. I have experience working with self-harming clients and those with suicidal ideations. I have worked in a variety of settings over the past 9 years and feel well equipped to help many folx who are struggling with complex challenges.
