I’m a compassionate, down-to-earth therapist who shows up with heart, honesty, and a little bit of grit. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm—and I don’t shy away from the hard stuff. As a mom of three, I know firsthand how beautifully messy life can be. Between the chaos and the carpool, I’ve learned the power of resilience, humor, and staying grounded. I love to laugh, I prioritize working out to keep my mind and body strong, and I cherish quality time with my family and friends. That balance of strength and joy is something I intentionally bring into the therapy room. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in deep cultural awareness. I create a space that feels safe, respectful, and real—where clients can exhale, be fully themselves, and feel truly understood. Using cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based strategies, I help clients build practical tools, tap into their inner fire, and move forward with clarity and confidence. Therapy with me is collaborative, empowering, and focused on meaningful, lasting change. and include that I have 18 years a school counselor and try to mesh how this make me approparite for therapy.e.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is all about connection, comfort, and clarity. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. We’ll start by talking about what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, current stressors, strengths, and goals. If you’re not sure where to begin, that’s completely okay—I’ll help guide the conversation. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We move at your pace. We’ll also review important background information, discuss confidentiality, and talk about how I work so you know what to expect moving forward. By the end of our session, we’ll begin identifying clear goals and outline a direction for our work together. Most importantly, you can expect warmth, honesty, and a collaborative approach. Therapy with me is a partnership—we’ll build practical tools, deepen insight, and create meaningful change together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What truly sets my work apart is the balance I bring—warmth and directness, compassion and accountability, insight and action. I create a space where clients feel deeply seen and respected, while also gently challenged to grow. As a trauma-informed therapist with strong cultural awareness, I am intentional about honoring each client’s lived experience. Clients don’t have to explain or defend who they are in my space. I understand the impact of culture, family dynamics, generational patterns, and systemic stressors, and I integrate that awareness into every part of the work. I am especially skilled at helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck to feeling empowered and capable. I don’t just listen—I help clients build practical, usable tools. By integrating cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches, I support clients in shifting unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, and recognizing the resilience they already carry. Another strength I bring is relatability. As a mom of three who values laughter, movement, and meaningful connection, I understand the real-life demands my clients are balancing. I show up authentically, which helps clients feel comfortable showing up as themselves. Clients often leave sessions with clarity, direction, and concrete strategies—not just insight, but momentum. My goal is always meaningful, lasting change rooted in resilience, self-awareness, and confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to serve children, teens, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or stretched thin by life’s transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally managing stress, self-doubt, burnout, or unresolved trauma. I work especially well with young people navigating emotional regulation and self-esteem challenges, as well as adults balancing parenting, relationships, career demands, and cultural expectations. My clients are ready for more than just talking—they want practical tools, deeper insight, and meaningful, lasting change. If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, culturally aware, direct, and empowering—while still creating a safe space to land—I’m likely a strong fit.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with both adolescents and adults to help them understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In my practice, I focus on teaching practical coping skills, challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, and supporting emotional regulation. With adolescents, I keep strategies relatable and skill-based, while with adults I emphasize insight, stress management, and healthier coping in daily life.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach with adolescents and adults to help clients recognize and build on their existing abilities, resilience, and resources. In my practice, I focus on highlighting what’s working, fostering self-efficacy, and empowering clients to use their strengths to navigate challenges, build confidence, and support positive change.
