My approach to counseling is hands on and straight-forward. Change and healing is possible, and with it, self-love, and happiness. But it requires time and effort. There’s no getting around it; therapy is hard. I am here to help guide my clients on their journey, providing support and guidance along the way. I want my clients to know that they are not alone in their struggle, and they do not have to go through it by themselves.
In our first session together, we will start with discussion about paperwork, ensuring all questions are answered regarding therapeutic process and safety per documentation. It’s important to make sure clients feel comfortable regarding confidentiality and their rights as a client. We will then dive into once’s history, discussing prior experiences within childhood, family, and any other information that may affect treatment plan. Discussions will be focused on their goals and desired outcome regarding therapy. Each client will have an individualized treatment plan developed that is focused on accomplishing these desired goals.
My practice focuses on family, adults, and couples. I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches to suit my clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy.
Some of my biggest strengths is being personable, engaging with my clients during sessions and focusing on their comfortability, as well as their goals for counseling.
Adults, family, and couples who are opened and motivated for treatment.
