I am a solution focus therapist who believes in compassion and kindness to all while creating a safe nonjudgmental space for clients to open up about their issues. I am part of the LGBTQ community that knows what family/society discrimination is about. I can help with recommending coping skills to help reduce anxiety, depression, and a range of different emotions. If you want to feel better and promote a healthier you then I can help.
The first session is usually about sharing how I work, answering any questions, and gathering important information from clients.
I have over 10 yrs experience as a therapist with 6 yrs experience in addiction/substance abuse and a life long experience in LGBTQ.
My clients tend to want change for the better in their life. My clients seek options, coping skills, and a safe place to open up about their problems/ feelings.
I teach how to communicate with each other and getting back to a place of love that started the relationship while being more solution focused to help with current problems.
My most favorite quote by Dr Wayne Dyer is the basis of my CBT work. “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
I have many coping skills I created to help a person needing emotional regulation skills when life stressors happen day to day.
I am LGBTQ and able to talk about issues surrounding family/society discrimination and how to cope with guilt/shame associated with gender identity issues.
I believe each person needs to be kind and compassionate to themselves giving grace for making mistakes.
