I am Shawn Crossley I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have worked with depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management to life transitions. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy therapist who utilizes multiple therapeutic techniques to address one's needs. I am a team oriented therapist who values the relationship of working together to overcome life's challenges.
The first session would be the get to know you and what your strengths and needs are. I will get to learn about your life and begin to identify what you want out of life so that as a team we can move you towards that goal.
I am a good listener and enjoy utilizing metaphors to highlight areas for change. I truly view the therapy relationship as a team and that we need to work together to assist the patient to achieve your life's goal. I enjoy helping others realize their goals and learn how to overcome the challenges that they have or are facing. I truly want the patient to be who they want and can be in their lives.
I can serve individuals with depressive, anxiety symptoms and other life stressors. I have been trained in CBT-for depression.
I have been trained in CBT-D (Depression). I have 20 + years of Mental Health treatment from case management, family structural therapy to individual psychotherapy.
