Labiba Radwan
I’m a seasoned Licensed Clinical Therapist with a strong foundation in trauma‑informed care and a wide range of clinical skills. I use evidenced- based aproaches, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness‑based practices, and strengths‑focused interventions to shape treatment around what feels most helpful for you. In our sessions, I take an active and collaborative approach—offering clear guidance, practical tools, and steady support as you build new skills and make meaningful lasting changes.
First session
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and welcoming as possible. During our first session, we will discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy, explore your personal history, and identify your goals for treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your expectations, and determine whether we are a good fit for working together. There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to discuss. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood.
Strengths
A blend of skill-building, interactive exercises, talk therapy, and guided reflection creates a trauma-informed process that is both engaging and effective. Clients learn a skill, try it out, talk it through, and then reflect on what shifted, often noticing real, meaningful results in how they think, feel, and respond. By tapping into the brain's natural capacity for neuroplasticity, this process helps clients strengthen new neural pathways, release unhelpful patterns, and reclaim healthier ways of coping that better support their goals and well-being. This mix keeps sessions dynamic while helping clients build insight, strengthen coping tools, and apply what they learn in real time.
Ideal clients
I provide compassionate, client-centered therapy for adults navigating a wide range of mental health and life challenges. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, or other emotional difficulties, you will find a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to heal and grow. Together, we will build on your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
