(She/Her)
I've been a therapist for twelve years, primarily serving survivors of trauma (complex, domestic/intimate partner violence), and in recovery from depression, anxiety, and OCD. I have a Master's in Counseling Psychology with training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I partner and collaborate with clients to help them process the past so they can more joyfully and confidently navigate the present and the future.
While building rapport during your initial session, we'll explore your treatment goals, your desired outcomes, and the fears/patterns/challenges that get in your way. Together we'll partner to help you to heal, get unstuck, and move forward in your life's journey.
Clients who work with me feel seen, heard, and understood. We co-create a therapeutic environment free of blame and judgement, and collaboratively work toward treatment goals.
My counseling setting provides a safe space for working through trauma, depression, anxiety, and patterns that keep you stuck, freeing you to achieve personal goals and live an empowered, courageous life.
EMDR
I use this method to help clients heal mental-emotional wounds that keep them stuck repeating patterns of the past, and free themselves to live confidently and courageously in the present and future.
Trauma-Focused CBT
With Trauma-Focused CBT, clients reduce the impact of past emotional wounds and are able to create the lives they desire.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
With Mindfulness-Based Therapy, clients increase their capacity to navigate and communicate difficult feelings and to deepen their connection to themselves, their loved ones, and the world around them.
