Greetings, My name is Kelli Cryer and i am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. Let’s be honest, the ebbs and flows of life can sometimes derail us and at other times, we find that we excel. The journey forward isn’t always clear and is often met with obstacles that feel insurmountable. As a therapist, I strive towards working together in a collaborative effort to cultivate an environment where clients grow in their security to express themselves, BOTH authentically AND freely. My counseling practice has included experience working with system-involved youth, couples, families, working professionals, college students, and community partners. One of the hardest parts of the journey is showing up. Let’s work toward liberating yourself until you are the empowered you again! Feel free to contact me via email or phone to schedule a consultation. I look forward to the possibility of joining you on your journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As a therapist, I understand the importance of reaching back and gathering the best of what our past offers to teach us. In pursuit of achieving our full potential as we move forward in our healing journeys, I also believe in moving in the awareness of one's capacity. It takes hard work and effort to face some of the most difficult times in our lives. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, supported and empowered to express and explore their stories. Clients can expect to be met with compassion, empathy, humility and grace.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) Culturally Sensitive Family Systems Person-Centered Relational Strength-Based

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

It is of high priority and a personal goal of mine to offer a safe and non-judgmental enviroment. I believe that one's ability to experience a sense of holisitic security within the theraputic space can be the catalyst toward personal validation, acceptance, vulnerability, trust and esteem. I value being a part of the process to support clients in developing a healthy sense of self, exploring the depths of thier personal and communical empowerment while modeling respect, affirmation and, accountability.
