My approach to therapy is conversational and collaborative, allowing clients to feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe in meeting clients where they are and adapting my therapeutic approach to their individual needs, preferences, and expectations. Clients often express after our first session, "I should have come to therapy a long time ago." I want you to expect a safe, warm, and judgment-free atmosphere right from the beginning. I support those navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, burn-out, low self esteem, perinatal mental health, and life transitions. With cultural sensitivity as a first-generation Indian, I help clients develop coping skills, heal from past patterns, and break generational cycles to foster personal growth and healthier relationships.
Treatment methods
Integrative
I blend various interventions depending on the needs of a client. We can be working on a persons thought patterns while also working through intergenerational trauma.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I provide education on the cognitive behavioral model and take small, achievable steps with a client.
Psychodynamic
I ask exploratory questions about a persons childhood experiences to assist them in identifying root causes of present day challenges.
