Welcome to Grow Therapy! I am a social worker at heart. Mental health encompasses the way we live, laugh and love. You will have the opportunity to explore your sense of self, others, and the world. You can learn how to embrace the moment and break the cycle that is getting in the way of your full potential. Therapy can help you deal with ambivalence, overwhelming emotions, feeling stuck and other stressful situations. Common things addressed during sessions include overthinking, mood challenges, dealing with stress, motivation, self-esteem and the change process. Pain, disappointments, and hardships are inevitable. Every day offers you a chance to renew your mind. We will aim to strengthen protective factors as you make positive changes to feel and be better. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. Radical acceptance includes walking in wisdom and living in truth! I am looking forward to speaking with you!
My goal within the first session is to build rapport and begin the assessment on overall wellbeing. You can expect to be treated with respect, empathy and non judgement. I respect the dignity and worth of every individual with a focus om empowerment.
My biggest strength includes upholding the therapeutic relationship by showing respect, empathy, and non-judgment. It is important to build rapport by meeting you where you are and allowing trust to form naturally. I am a great listener and I will encourage you to enhance levels of authenticity, courage, and acceptance. I want to encourage you to move with passion, purpose and a plan! We will work on changing the relationship you have with your thoughts and feelings. It is important to renew your mind, build balance, and seek peace.
I enjoy working with individuals experiencing life transitions. Specific populations may include the BIPOC Community, LGBTQIAA, Identity and Self Esteem, Trauma and Grief, Relationship Issues.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Whatever we focus on will grow and expand. CBT will better help you understand the interplay between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Automatic negative thoughts can be reframed and restructured to help with emotional regulation.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT serves as a mindful guide to help coexist with challenging thoughts and emotions. The focus is on aligning our values with our lifestyle. This will help to navigate discomfort, defuse thoughts, and embrace challenges.

My life. Just went for it, and knew after the first appointment that Keisha was the one for me. She's wonderful at her job and has made a major impact on my life. 🫶🏻
