Hi everyone, my name is Augusta, Are you one of those who believe people with mental health can’t function, be happy, can’t hold down a job or be useful members of the workforce? This is entirely false. I was drawn to the helping profession through my love for relationships, ministry experiences and a deep desire to understand emotional processes and healing. A wealth of life experience provides me with an ability to understand common patterns that affect most people in their journeys. Clients will be accepted as they are, self-understanding will be used as a therapeutic tool, consistency will be used to contribute to patient security, and reassurance will be given suitably and acceptably. So, whether you are going through acute or chronic mental health issues, I am here to help. Seeking Medication Management and therapy may be terrifying, but you are on the way to recovery. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who impacts all healing modalities for patients suffering from a broad spectrum of mental health ailments. Also, support and help to strengthen the patient’s mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I will collaborate with the patient's overall mental health care. PMHNPs are expected to meet with patients to discuss and note symptoms, implement care plans, administer medications, update patient charts, assist in basic needs, facilitate group therapy projects and more. Take a moment to consider how many different kinds of mental health needs clients might need. Everything from Depression to PTSD, from generalized anxiety disorder to addiction. Expect to get some medication with the expectation to follow up with me if you have any problems. Patients should be hopeful, and know their expectations which will include taking their medications, attending therapy and following up with appointments.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Evidence-based treatments Psychopharmacological therapy, or prescribing and managing medications Regular patient screenings Progressive concepts that connect the mind and body Biological interventions Therapeutic interventions
