First session
In our first session, my priority is helping you feel comfortable, safe, and heard. We’ll start by getting to know each other at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll explain how therapy works, answer any questions you have, and review confidentiality so you know what to expect. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and exploring what support might be most helpful for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, understood, and clear about next steps.
Strengths
My strengths include my ability to create a safe, calm, and supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected. I bring a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective to my work and am skilled at building trust through consistency, empathy, and clear communication.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is an individual who may be navigating the effects of stress, trauma, or ongoing emotional or behavioral challenges. They may be experiencing anxiety, difficulties with emotional regulation, or challenges related to life transitions or past experiences. I work best with clients who are open to a collaborative, supportive approach and who value feeling heard, respected, and empowered. I strive to provide a safe, trauma-informed space where clients can build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful, sustainable change at their own pace.
