Hello there! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in North Carolina. I hold a master’s degree from UNCP. I specialize in helping young adults navigate self-discovery and improve their self-image. I’m passionate about supporting women as they heal from toxic relationships and empowering them to rebuild their confidence. I also work with clients managing everyday stressors, life transitions, and burnout, providing a compassionate space to explore challenges and develop tools for a healthier, more balanced life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I aim to empower clients to tap into their strengths and live more authentically.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I am dedicated to empowering individuals as they heal, grow, and embrace their full potential. My greatest strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly seen and heard. I approach therapy with warmth, empathy, and a focus on helping you uncover your inner strengths and build confidence. One of my core strengths is my passion for empowering women recovering from traumatic relationships or navigating difficult life transitions. I specialize in helping clients rebuild their self-worth and find clarity after experiences that have left them feeling stuck or uncertain. I also bring a holistic perspective to therapy, recognizing the deep connection between mental health, self-image, and overall well-being. As an introverted Black woman, I bring cultural awareness and sensitivity to my practice, offering a unique understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities. I believe in fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating life transitions, recovering from traumatic relationships, or seeking to rebuild confidence and self-worth. My ideal clients are individuals who value personal growth and are ready to explore their inner strengths while creating healthier patterns in their lives. I work best with those who are open to a holistic approach—combining practical strategies for managing stress and emotions with a deeper exploration of identity, self-image, and life goals. Whether you’re striving to break free from cycles of avoidance, improve your relationships, or simply rediscover joy and purpose, I’m here to guide you through the process.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

In my work, I use a strength-based approach, helping clients identify and build on their unique strengths, talents, and past successes. Together, we’ll focus on what’s working well in your life, empowering you to overcome challenges, build confidence, and create meaningful change. My goal is to help you see yourself not just as resilient, but as capable of thriving, even in difficult circumstances.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more balanced perspectives. By learning practical tools and techniques, you’ll be empowered to manage challenges, reduce distress, and create positive changes in your life.
