Hi, I’m Beth and I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges—whether you’re dealing with transitions, anxiety, grief, or just looking for someone to truly listen. With over 20 years of experience in the social services and clinical fields, I bring a dynamic and creative approach to therapy that’s all about you. I’m not about one-size-fits-all solutions—I’ll meet you where you are, using a combination of insightful conversation, creative tools, and practical assignments to help you move forward. I believe in honest, open communication and will always be upfront about your progress and what’s needed to get you to the next level. I’m here to challenge, support, and empower you to make lasting changes, all while respecting your pace and unique journey. Let’s work together to turn challenges into opportunities for growth, with a plan that’s flexible and tailored just for you.
In our first session, we’ll take time to introduce ourselves and get to know one another. It’s important for you to feel comfortable and understand the process as we begin working together. We’ll also review confidentiality, which ensures that everything you share remains private, with a few important exceptions that I’ll explain. We’ll discuss the risks and benefits of therapy, as well as teletherapy, so you can make an informed choice about how we proceed. Additionally, we’ll conduct a biopsychosocial assessment to better understand your unique needs, challenges, and life history. This will help us identify your treatment goals, so we can create a clear, personalized plan to guide our work together. The first session is about building trust and laying the foundation for our future work.
I believe that, at our core, we all start as humans, and it's from that shared place of humanity that we meet in therapy. I understand that the journey of healing and growth is often difficult—change, by nature, is unsettling. Being human means we carry additional challenges, especially when we try to confront and change long-standing patterns. It’s important to know that this process doesn’t always feel good, and at times, it can be downright uncomfortable to get close to underlying issues. I’m here to guide you through that discomfort with compassion and support. With over 20 years of experience in the social service industry—working within systems, leading organizations, and advocating nationally—I bring a broad perspective on how to navigate these challenges. My approach combines traditional therapy with holistic methods, helping you move forward with a personalized, results-driven plan that recognizes both the difficulty and the power of transformation.
My ideal client is someone who is navigating significant life transitions—whether in relationships, education, career, health, or personal growth—and is facing challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, low self-esteem, or uncertainty. They may be dealing with unresolved trauma, grief, or issues related to self-identity. This can also include families of active-duty service members or veterans facing the unique emotional stressors of military life, as well as individuals dealing with end-of-life transitions and the complex emotions surrounding aging or terminal illness. These clients are committed to working on themselves and are ready to address the barriers that prevent full engagement in their own healing. My approach provides practical tools to manage stress, build resilience, and overcome obstacles, helping clients regain clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose as they move forward. I love helping to support people on their journey to finding peace; within themselves, in their relationships, and in the world around them.
