Hello, I’m Dr. Linda, a doctorate-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I believe every person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I earned my doctoral degree in nursing and combine advanced clinical training with a collaborative, patient-centered approach to treatment. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health concerns. My approach integrates thoughtful medication management, education, and practical coping strategies to help you achieve meaningful, lasting improvement. Whether you’re seeking treatment for the first time or looking for a fresh perspective, my goal is to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and feel empowered throughout your mental health journey. Together, we’ll develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle so you can move toward lasting wellness with confidence.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll spend time discussing what brought you to treatment, your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, previous treatments, lifestyle factors, and your goals for care. You’re welcome to ask questions, express concerns, and share what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication recommendations, therapy referrals when appropriate, lifestyle strategies, or additional assessments. Many clients leave the first appointment feeling relieved simply because they’ve finally had someone listen carefully and provide a clear direction forward. My goal is for you to leave with greater understanding, hope, and a plan that feels realistic and achievable.

Strengths

My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe the best outcomes happen when we work together as partners in your care. I take time to truly listen, explain treatment options in plain language, and make sure you understand the reasoning behind every recommendation. I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with compassion and practical strategies you can begin using right away. While I provide support and encouragement, I’ll also gently challenge unhelpful patterns when appropriate to help you move toward lasting change. My goal is not simply to prescribe medication—it’s to help you understand yourself better, build resilience, and develop the tools needed to improve your quality of life. Every treatment plan is individualized because no two people experience mental health the same way.

Ideal clients

I work with adults (18+) who are ready to actively participate in improving their mental health. My ideal clients are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, stress, burnout, mood disorders, or life transitions. I enjoy partnering with professionals, parents, students, and healthcare workers seeking evidence-based psychiatric care. Together, we develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and practical coping strategies to help clients regain balance, improve functioning, and achieve lasting wellness.
