Hi, I'm Dr. Ciji! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience, serving clients in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I value a holistic approach to therapy and specialize in helping individuals who feel disconnected from their sense of worth, struggle to manage stress, need support in setting healthy boundaries, or find it difficult to express their thoughts and feelings. Let's work together to help you thrive.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I offer a free 20-minute consultation with no pressure- just an opportunity to see if we're a good fit and to acclimate you to our system. During our first session, we'll dive into an assessment to understand your needs, and from there, it's all about ready, set, grow!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients appreciate my organic, nonjudgmental, yet straightforward approach. Together, we focus on your strengths, validate your experiences, and take meaningful steps toward growth and healing.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, and life's uncertainties, as well as couples navigating challenges, including military couples and spouses. I also support expats seeking a sense of normalcy and connection in their new environment. My passion lies in helping clients find clarity, balance, and resilience in the "gray areas" of life.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients balance and accept the "gray areas." Clients who struggle with emotional regulation, managing their relationships, managing stress, and practicing mindfulness will find DBT helpful in reaching their treatment goals.
