Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a masters degree from Springfield College. I have spent the past decade accumulating a broad range of social work experience and am excited to be offering clinical services in the Farmington area. I offer a body positive, sex positive, and gender/sexuality inclusive approach. My comfort zone includes serving folks with substance use struggles and histories of legal involvement. I am also no stranger to folks navigating life changes, relationship challenges, and maladaptive decision making patterns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is meant to help us set the scene for the work we will do together. I will ask questions that help define major life themes and goals. Together we will decide how often we will meet, the timeline of our work, and the topics we will prioritize.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I truly value the therapeutic partnership. You are the expert on you. I am am here to collaborate with you as you build your best life. I believe therapy is meant to be accessible and so is your therapist. The stigmatized power dynamic of therapist and client doesn't have a place in my practice. We are a team.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

No two clients are the same. I enjoy getting to know my clients, their motivations, goals, and abilities. Using an eclectic approach allows me to uniquely fit my interventions to each individual I work with for maximum impact.

Motivational Interviewing

The most effective and lasting changes are made internally. Supporting clients in identifying their own motivators creates an organic drive to create needed changes within their lives.

Strength-Based

Our view of ourselves in our story matters. Looking through the lens of our strengths allows us to conquer the challenges ahead and recognize the ways in which we have done so historically. I take opportunities to support clients in identifying their inner survivor while they build this perspective of themselves .
