Hi there! My name is Brandie. Are you struggling to maintain healthy relationships? Do you feel overwhelmed with life stressors? Do you find it difficult to focus on self-care? Does it seem like no matter how hard you try you just can’t seem to keep it all together? Let me help you! I work with highly motivated and high achieving individuals and couples just like you to better manage and cope with stress, anxiety, trauma, life stressors, and other issues that may be holding you back from living the life you want. Together we can figure out what’s not working and implement strategies for change, growth, and healing. We will use an integrated, whole-person approach, focusing on mind, body, and spirit, and drawing from mindfulness and your own values to guide us. Whether you have been struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma for years, you are having difficulty adjusting to a life change or new role, or you find yourself in a difficult or conflictual relationship, I am here to help! Deciding to seek therapy can be scary but connecting with a therapist and beginning this journey is a big step toward living the life you want. Whether we work individually, or I join you and your partner, I will always meet you where you are and provide a safe space for you to grow and heal. In our work together you will always be met with empathy, compassion, and respect. I will utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches to help you overcome the challenges you are facing, create the change that you want, find acceptance and love for yourself, and put you firmly back in the driver’s seat of your life. I can’t wait to begin our work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, you will have an opportunity to talk about the challenges you are facing, and we will develop a plan for our work together. I will work to learn as much as I can about you in our initial meeting, share my theoretical orientation and style of therapy, and make sure that you feel comfortable and that we are a good match. When you leave or first session, my goal is that you feel hopeful and excited.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I specialize in working with adults ages 20 and older struggling with anxiety, trauma, and stress-related disorders, personality disorders, life changes, and relationship issues, and I work with both individuals and couples.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I primarily utilize acceptance and commitment therapy in our work together utilizing tools and developing skills to assist you in identifying your values, what you actually have control over in your life, accepting yourself, your feelings, life, and identifying and taking committed steps toward your goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our work together we will focus on the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and developing tools and skills to be intentional and responsive rather than reactive.
