In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative conversation where the focus is on understanding their needs and setting a foundation. I'll start by making the client feel comfortable and encouraging open, honest dialogue. I'll explore what brought you to therapy, your current struggles, and what you hope to achieve. I will discuss personal history, relationships, coping strategies, past experiences with therapy and/or medications (if any), and what you can expect in future visits. I'll also discuss how often you'll meet and how progress will be tracked. Before the session ends, we might collaborate on a small, actionable step you can take toward your goals. This could be a coping strategy, self-reflection exercise, or simply identifying one positive change you would like to focus on. This practice does not write letters or complete forms for new clients. In order to be considered, a consistent therapeutic relationship for at least 3 months is required.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Building strong therapeutic relationships by offering empathy and encouragement. I guide individuals toward practical, achievable steps rather than getting stuck in problems. My ability to help clients recognize their strengths and create meaningful change. I meet individuals where they are through active listening.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Individuals who want to focus on solutions rather than dwell on past struggles. Clients who need help recognizing their own resilience and building on their existing skills. Those dealing with work stress, relationship challenges, or personal growth struggles who need emotional support. Individuals who benefit from supportive listening, encouragement, and emotional validation as they navigate challenges. Those who may feel stuck but are open to exploring small, meaningful steps toward improvement.

My treatment methods

Supportive

I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I acknowledge clients’ emotions and experiences, helping them feel seen and accepted. I help clients process their feelings and thoughts, reducing distress by talking through their struggles. I offer practical tools to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and difficult situations. I highlight clients’ abilities and past successes to build confidence in their ability to handle challenges. While maintaining a client-centered approach, you provide gentle direction when needed to promote stability and progress.
