Hi! I’m Amanda! I’m so happy you’re here! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with 8 years of experience. My background working in juvenile detention allows me to have an understanding of the justice system and unique needs that accompany justice system involvement. I have spent my professional career working primarily with children and adolescents in juvenile dentition, crisis counseling, and brief intervention services with children, adolescents, and adults in a primary care physicians office.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I want to get to know YOU. What do you enjoy? What are you looking to address in a therapeutic setting? I will ask about your previous mental health treatment, goals, aspirations, living situation, the basics.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize an eclectic and holistic approach pulling from interventions that will be of the most benefit to my clients. I tend to focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed care, and Solution Focused Brief interventions. I recognize that many different life factors significantly impact mental health and I want to understand you as a whole person.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is looking to open their mind to therapy and the benefits it can have if you allow it! Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or a mood disorder? Maybe you aren’t quite sure where your concerns fall and need assistance with sorting through symptoms you are experiencing? I welcome all walks of life and am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I am so glad you are here and truly thank you for allowing me to help you on your healing journey!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to link how our thoughts affect our emotions and how both affect behavior. We work to unpack thought processes and adjust how you interpret emotions.
