Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and proud U.S. Air Force veteran, currently pursuing my PhD in Psychology at Walden University. I bring both life experience and clinical training to the work I do with individuals and couples, helping them move through anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum challenges, and relationship struggles. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, specializing in Direct Practice in Mental Health and Substance Abuse, and I integrate evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, eye movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR) mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) into my work. My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. Whether you’re adjusting to a new chapter, processing past experiences, or working to strengthen your relationships, therapy can be a powerful tool—and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk with you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to work toward. I’ll also tell you a bit about myself and how I approach therapy, so you feel clear about what to expect. By the end of our time together, my hope is that you feel comfortable, heard, and a little lighter knowing you’ve started this process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support adults, couples, mothers, Veterans, and first responders who are navigating high-stress environments, major life transitions, and emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship strain. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted—but still holding onto a desire for relief, clarity, and stronger connections. Whether you're a new parent adjusting to the demands of postpartum life, a couple seeking to rebuild trust and communication, or a Veteran or first responder coping with the invisible wounds of service, I offer a safe, grounded space to explore your experiences and work toward healing. My approach is respectful, down-to-earth, and tailored to your goals—whether that means gaining practical coping tools, processing past trauma, or reconnecting with your partner and yourself.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work to help people feel less stuck and more connected to what matters most to them. With ACT, we learn to notice and make space for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of getting caught up in struggling with them. Together, we clarify your core values—what’s truly important to you—and find practical ways to take action in line with those values. I also incorporate mindfulness and acceptance skills so you can respond to life’s challenges with more openness and self-compassion.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use CBT to help clients explore the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. We work together to increase awareness of automatic thought patterns—especially those that are self-critical, fearful, or limiting—and challenge them with more balanced and empowering alternatives.

EMDR

I use EMDR in my practice to help clients process traumatic or upsetting memories. This approach combines focused attention on specific memories with guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation. EMDR can reduce distress and help you feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients strengthen the coping skills they’ve already used successfully. We work together to identify times when they were able to problem-solve or manage feelings of anxiety and depression effectively. By highlighting and building on these existing strengths, clients gain confidence in their ability to handle challenges and create positive change in their lives.
