I have over 9 years of experience treating adults, teens, and adolescents for various mental health related issues. I utilize a positive psychology and motivational interviewing approach to working with clients in order to help them overcome barriers to treating their mental health. My goal is to help you work through your current struggles and help provide a roadmap for you to be able to do so in the future on your own. I don't want to feed you for the day, I want to teach you how to fish.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In my sessions, you'll gain insights into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthy coping skills, build resilience, and find solutions tailored to your needs. Expect a compassionate, collaborative space where you'll be heard and empowered to reach your goals. We'll set goals and decide what will help you feel as though you've made progress. Together, let's navigate towards a more fulfilling life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist specializing in supporting clients for the past 9 years, I've honed my skills in helping you navigate the unique challenges you face. Together, we'll uncover the causes of your struggles – whether it's anxiety, work stress, relationship difficulties, or unhealthy habits – and develop a personalized roadmap to measurable progress. This means building resilience, managing difficult emotions, and ultimately, creating a more fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I’ve been utilizing Motivational Interviewing since I was trained in it during my first job out of grad school. I use it to help uncover clarity and insight for clients and to help them focus on change talk rather than getting caught up on the negative.
