My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Treatment is based on the cognitive triangle; thoughts lead to feelings which lead to behavior. Change one they all change.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)

as above, change one they all change, thoughts, feelings, behavior. Learn skills to develop a way to reduce or take away the risk in order to prevent

Trauma-Focused CBT

The brain protects itself from danger including memories. Through CBT trauma focus - The telling of their story, helping them to identify what triggers their memory today - assisting them to work through the distortion that its happening now - it's a bad memory.

Couples Counseling

Most couples will identify unhealthy communication styles. Treatment is focused and brief, I begin to explore their communication styles, re-connect in healthier communication which can increase thier intimacy and support for each other. Infidelity is broken trust. In couples counseling we focus on rebuilding trust through support, communication and skills.
