About me

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) practicing in New Jersey. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, mood disorders, and more in both adults and adolescents. I spent nearly a decade working in substance use and dual diagnosis treatment before intentionally expanding my practice and qualifications to work with a broader range of human challenges. That foundation continues to inform my work, help clients go beyond managing symptoms to understand the deeper patterns driving their thoughts,, emotions, and behaviors, so they can create lasting, meaningful change. My approach is integrative and trauma- informed, combining cognitive, somatic, attachment-based, and existential therapies. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) into my work, helping clients understand the different parts of themselves. Mind-body awareness is foundational, born from nearly 20 years of experience teaching yoga and meditation. You don't have to have anything figured out to begin. Therapy can offer a space to explore, understand, and begin to shift those patterns in a way that feels meaningful and lasting. "We see that everything in nature called destruction, must be creation.." —John Muir

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I take an integrative, depth-oriented approach to therapy, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, and an awareness of the mind-body connection. In our first session, we'll explore what's bringing you here and begin to understand the patterns, experiences, and parts of you that are asking for attention.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

believe therapy should be more than simply having someone listen; it should help you create and transform. My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate, but I'm also an active and directive therapist. I don't hesitate to gently challenge unhelpful patterns, offer honest feedback, and provide practical tools when they will help move you forward. Along with nearly a decade of experience working with addiction, mental health, and trauma, I bring genuine empathy shaped by my own life experiences. Having navigated significant personal challenges myself, I understand how difficult it can be to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain. Those experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with clients without judgment while maintaining hope that change is possible.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, addiction, stress, and questions of identity or purpose. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking to understand yourself more deeply, you don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I strive to meet you exactly where you are with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. Some clients want practical tools and clear direction, while others need space to process and explore. Together, we'll create an approach that fits your unique needs, goals, and pace.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Our early relationships and life experiences can have a lasting impact on how we think, feel and connect with others. I use a variety of methods to uncover the imprints that may be driving is subconsciously, such as using “parts” work (IFS) as well as other methods to activate the areas that are harder to identify.
