I'm Loryn Chás (Chase), PhD, LCPC, NCC, dedicated to helping individuals break through the barriers of generational trauma and self-doubt. I specialize in supporting clients as they dismantle unhealthy cycles and reclaim their lives through a holistic, empowering approach. I believe that practiced behaviors evolve into generational patterns—and that cycles of trauma normalized within families can begin to feel inescapable. Like an invisible illness, we sense something is wrong, yet we struggle to name it, trace its origins, or understand how to heal. My work centers on helping people become aware of the normalized trauma they carry and empowering them to use that awareness as fuel—breaking learned, survival-based, trauma-rooted patterns to tap into their innate strength and actualize their greatness, regardless of the setbacks they've faced. Through our work together, clients often experience a profound sense of liberation from mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual pain—leaving with renewed energy, deeper self-awareness, and a fresh perspective on their relationships, purpose, and potential.
During the first session, we will explore your concerns, clarify your goals, and identify areas for growth. This initial discussion, along with ongoing assessment of your presenting concerns, will serve as the foundation for crafting a treatment plan tailored to your needs and desired outcomes. We will also review practice policies and make space for any questions you may have. This session is meant to prepare us to begin the meaningful work of healing and change.
The key to mental freedom is seeing beyond your circumstances to create a life where you can thrive and live in harmony with yourself. As a researcher and educator, I bring a diverse toolkit to every session, drawing from evidence-based approaches to help clients reclaim their lives by removing the barriers of trauma and uncovering the power of creative healing. A simple investment in yourself guarantees a generous return. Allow me to match your effort.
I work with adolescents and adults — individuals, couples, and families — navigating the many ways trauma shows up in everyday life. This includes anxiety, depression, personality disorders, somatic disorders, and challenges related to attachment, relationships, and identity. I understand that not everyone is ready for this work, and that is okay. But for those who are open to pushing through the discomfort—I am here for you. Think of therapy like the first week of a new exercise routine. Your body aches, resists, and questions whether it is worth it. But it is precisely in that discomfort that change begins. Those who are willing to stay the course, even when it is hard, consistently experience the most profound and lasting transformation. True to the spirit of Therapy Over Easy, my ultimate goal is to make the healing process as accessible as possible—equipping you with practical tools and techniques that extend well beyond our sessions and support you for a lifetime. If you are ready to feel the discomfort and push through it anyway — you are exactly who I am here to serve.

I identify as
Integrative
Integrative therapy is a holistic approach to therapy that combines ideas and techniques based on the client's unique needs. This approach is the foundation of my work. Clients have the best outcomes when their counselor brings a toolkit to help resolve challenges instead of a tool.
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic Therapy strives to help people understand the influences of their past and become aware of difficult, unprocessed feelings and behaviors.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a style of therapy that helps clients relieve symptoms by replacing rigid ways of living and thinking with cognitive flexibility. Once this is accomplished, clients fully accept themselves and commit to making necessary changes in their behavior, leading to freedom and peace.
Narrative
Narrative Therapy allows clients to see themselves apart from their problems. Clients walk away with the ability to control their own stories.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems therapy is a transformative approach to counseling that acknowledges human beings as a system of protective and wounded inner parts led by a core Self. Understanding the inner parts helps clients self-regulate and heal.

It only took me one session to know that Loryn was the perfect fit for me. I’ve been seeing her for the last month and have felt empowered after every session, even when we’ve talked about some of the most challenging situations that I’ve faced. I’ve laid out a lot of my traumas and challenges to her, and find her relatability and guidance to be incredibly helpful as I navigate through this chapter of my life. Her energy & insight are unmatched. I am so grateful to have her in my corner.
