New to Grow
Hello! I’m Sabrina, a double board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (ANCC & AANP). I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and mood disorders. I provide comprehensive care through medication management combined with psychotherapy, tailored to support your unique goals and overall well-being. I honor your unique story, goals, and overall health. My practice is rooted in trust, empathy, and evidence-based practice, using up-to-date clinical knowledge to provide accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment. Your well-being is my top priority.
During our first session, I will focus on understanding your physical, emotional, and mental health needs. We will review your medical and mental health history, complete a comprehensive evaluation, and begin building a trusting relationship. After the assessment, I will explain diagnoses and discuss your treatment options in a clear and honest way. Your well-being, comfort, and confidentiality are always my top priorities. *****Please note: I am in-network with most insurance plans, but not with Medicare or Medi-Cal. To avoid unexpected charges, please do not schedule if you have these plans. *****Please note: I do not accept patients whose sole request is for benzodiazepine or controlled medication prescriptions. My goal is to provide comprehensive, safe, and effective mental health care.
We provide a compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized approach to psychiatric medication management, psychotherapy, and mental wellness. Our focus is on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care that respects your individuality, your story, and your goals.
The clients I’m best positioned to serve are individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, or mood disorders and are seeking thoughtful, evidence-based care. I work especially well with individuals who value a collaborative approach and want to better understand their symptoms, develop coping strategies, and explore whether medication may be helpful as part of their treatment. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey. I also speak Chinese and have a strong understanding of Asian cultures, which helps me provide culturally sensitive care. 我还可以讲中文,可以和您无障碍交流。

I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
CBT and ACT are often combined in my practice. CBT helps patients identify and change distorted thoughts to improve emotions and behaviors. ACT focuses on accepting difficult thoughts, staying present, and acting based on personal values rather than trying to control every thought. I use CBT when thoughts can be challenged and ACT when they are persistent or intrusive. Together, these approaches help patients build coping skills, increase flexibility, and continue functioning even with discomfort.

Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing, a patient-centered approach that helps individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about change. It uses open-ended questions, reflective listening, and empathy to strengthen motivation and confidence. In practice, I guide patients to identify their own reasons for change, support autonomy, and take small, meaningful steps toward healthier behaviors.
