I'm Antoinette Flowers, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of ReZealiant Minds. I provide compassionate, personalized mental health care to children, teens, and adults through both telehealth and community-based services. My approach combines medication management, supportive therapy, and evidence-based techniques like mindfulness and motivational interviewing. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and sleep difficulties, with a focus on helping clients overcome life’s mental blocks with zeal. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing begins and progress feels possible.
In our first session together, you can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel truly heard. I’ll take time to get to know you—your concerns, symptoms, and personal history—through a thoughtful and comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll explore what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what goals you’d like to achieve, whether that’s improving your mood, focus, sleep, or relationships. I’ll also walk you through potential treatment options, which may include medication, therapy techniques, or lifestyle changes. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave that first session feeling understood, supported, and clear about your next steps.
What stands out about my approach is the balance of clinical expertise and genuine compassion I bring to every session. I don’t just treat symptoms—I take time to understand the whole person behind them. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are, and together, we build a treatment plan that fits your life and values. I use evidence-based practices like medication management, mindfulness, and therapeutic conversation—but I always lead with empathy, patience, and respect. My goal is to help you feel empowered, not just treated.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Help guide patients to notice rather than fight their inner experiences (like anxiety or negative thoughts), using mindfulness techniques and defusion exercises. support them in identifying their core values and taking small, intentional steps toward those values. It blends well with medication management by shifting the focus from “fixing” to functioning with purpose.
Compassion Focused
Introduce compassion as a strength, not a weakness, and help clients understand how their brain’s “threat system” can dominate their thinking. In sessions, I will guide clients through soothing imagery, compassionate letter writing, or grounding exercises that activate the calming system. Encourage them to treat themselves as they would a close friend—especially during emotional setbacks. This approach builds emotional resilience and promotes healing by shifting the tone of inner dialogue from harsh to supportive.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing helps clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change by drawing on their own values and motivations. I will use open-ended questions, affirmations, reflective listening, and summaries to guide conversations without judgment or pressure. Instead of telling clients what to do, I help them discover why change matters to them.
