New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Renewed Harmony Counseling PLLC, where I work with adults and teens seeking both support and deeper self-understanding. My work is shaped not only by clinical training, but by a deep respect for how complex, painful, and transformative it can be to be human. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am deeply committed to providing affirming, inclusive care. I strive to create a space where clients of all identities feel seen, respected, and supported in exploring their experiences without judgment.
I see therapy as a space to slow down, listen more closely, and begin relating to yourself with greater clarity, compassion, and intention. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you understand yourself more fully, strengthen the tools available to you, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. During this appointment, I’ll ask questions about different areas of your life — including your emotional well-being, personal history, relationships, daily functioning, and current concerns — so I can gain a fuller understanding of your experiences and how best to support you. This conversation helps us create a foundation for therapy that is collaborative, personalized, and centered around your goals.
Some of my clinical strengths is my ability to create a therapeutic space that is both supportive and growth-oriented. I bring patience, authenticity, and humor into the counseling relationship while also gently challenging clients when needed to encourage insight and meaningful change. I strive to balance compassion with honesty — offering warmth and emotional safety while helping clients recognize patterns, barriers, or beliefs that may be keeping them stuck. I also value a collaborative approach to therapy and believe clients are the experts of their own experiences. I’m intentional about allowing clients to guide the pace and direction of sessions while providing support, perspective, and clinical guidance along the way.
My ideal client is someone who may be struggling with mental health concerns, chronic suicidal ideation, emotional distress, or significant life transitions and is seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space for growth and healing. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or uncertain about how to move forward. I work well with individuals who are ready to explore healthier coping strategies, increase self-awareness, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences. Whether navigating change, processing difficult emotions, or working toward personal growth, my goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
My approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and shaped by an existential orientation that makes space for both change and deeper exploration. I am certified in DBT through Evergreen Certifications.
