Seeking therapy is a meaningful step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, respected, and empowered throughout the process. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, bi-polar disorder, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. I also have experience supporting individuals recovering from alcohol use and other substance use disorders. Much of my recent clinical experience has focused on supporting those living with traumatic brain injuries as someone with a CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist). My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I want you to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your treatment. I offer encouragement and empathy, while also providing honest, thoughtful feedback when it can help you move toward your goals. I believe lasting growth comes from balancing support with accountability. Whether you’re working through a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or looking to build greater confidence and resilience we’ll work together to identify practical tools and meaningful insights that support lasting change. You don't have to show up any particular way here, you can expect a real, down-to-earth space where you can be yourself, and we'll figure things out together. If you're curious, reach out and we can talk! I'm happy to have you here.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely okay if you’re not sure where to begin. Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you might have. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. My goal is for you to be comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll begin to identify your strengths, explore what’s been getting in the way, and discuss what meaningful progress looks like for you. I recommend getting yourself comfortable. So come as you are, wrapped in a blanket, drink in hand or whatever makes you feel grounded.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where people from all walks of life have felt supported and equally challenged. While utilizing evidence based practices, I avoid making things feel overly clinical by being compassionate, honest, and giving direct feedback as needed. Therapy shouldn't be intimidating or something we avoid, so you can use this space to adapt, grow, cry, celebrate the wins and find humor in the chaos. I have had experience working across the provider spectrum, which includes inpatient psychiatric care (adults and adolescents), outpatient, residential, family therapy, group therapy, in-home services, and day program facilitation. This has created a well rounded skills base to work with individuals with a wide range of needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I find the most success comes when someone is open to gentle challenge and willing to try small steps between sessions. Growth involves a little discomfort, but we will take those steps together. Showing up for yourself during weekly or maybe biweekly therapy is amazing! Just know the real work happens when you practice tiny skills in your day to day life. It's important to show up for yourself during the in-between too.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

I see a person as a whole, not just a diagnosis. Treatment starts with understanding your values, strengths, and your lived experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT helps us develop insight into how we are feeling, why we are feeling this, and how our behaviors are influenced. Breaking these things down to understand our emotions, actions, and thoughts, impacts our ability to have a realistic and balanced understanding of our situations. Shame-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been an extremely valuable tool in addressing confidence and helping people reframe negative feelings of themselves.

Eclectic

I tend to pull from different therapy modalities in order to find what will work best for you.
