Hey there! Welcome! I'm Jackie and I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. I received my bachelors from Keuka College and my masters from Binghamton University. I have over 15 years of experience working in a variety of behavioral health settings, including an emergency department, outpatient clinic, and local school districts. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I look forward to building a therapeutic alliance with you and helping you achieve your goals!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will focus on establishing therapeutic rapport and learning specifically what you are looking for regarding your presentation to treatment. While this all sounds great, you may be looking for somewhere to unload and a space to verbal vomit. That's OK, too! Sometimes that is necessary to lay the ground work for major progress to happen!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am direct and will ask the tough questions, but this is to challenge your thoughts and/or actions and allow for you to process in a safe, non-judgmental space.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Let's build on what you have already mastered! I personally find that my clients enjoy tapping into skills and qualities that they feel good about, as they have previously shared that they are more motivation to strive towards their goals when we incorporate what is already working! No need to reinvent the wheel!

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I specialize in working with individuals facing challenges such as relationship issues, work-related stress, and personal development. Whatever the concern may be, my solution-focused approach will help you clarify your goals and execute effective strategies for positive change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Often we find ourselves mentally "stuck." My experience with the CBT approach has allowed me to travel with my clients on a journey of self-exploration, learning how thoughts, feelings, and sensations directly impact behavioral cycles. Our goal is to identify maladaptive thought processes and reframe to encourage more positive behaviors.

Eclectic

Utilizing an eclectic approach allows me to pull from various treatment modalities and tailor a truly individualized plan to best assist my clients in reaching their personal goals.
