I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience helping adults manage anxiety, parenting stress, and life transitions. I specialize in supporting parents with ADHD, individuals navigating perinatal and postpartum challenges, and professionals coping with burnout. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I focus on helping you build tools that bring relief, clarity, and real change. I offer evening and Friday appointments to make therapy accessible for busy lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where we’ll get to know each other at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll gently explore what brought you to therapy, your goals, current challenges, and relevant history, always honoring your comfort and readiness to share. This session is about building trust and making sure you feel truly heard, not rushed or pressured. By the end, we’ll discuss what working together might look like and collaboratively create a plan tailored specifically to your needs and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is characterized by a strong emphasis on empathy, active listening, and cultural competence. I strive to adapt my methods to suit the unique needs of each client, fostering a collaborative environment where we work together to set goals and develop strategies for positive change. I maintain clear professional boundaries and prioritize ongoing learning to stay informed about the latest therapeutic practices. Effective communication is at the core of my interactions, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to serve women navigating significant life transitions, whether starting college, adjusting to new motherhood, coping with loss, or redefining their identity during a major change. Many of my clients carry invisible emotional burdens and seek a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to feel truly seen, supported, and guided. I especially connect with introspective, high-functioning women who may appear composed on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck inside.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and develop healthier behaviors. In my practice, I tailor CBT techniques to each client’s unique situation, often combining them with mindfulness and practical exercises to reduce anxiety and increase emotional resilience.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I integrate ACT to support clients in accepting difficult emotions without judgment while clarifying their core values. This method helps clients build psychological flexibility and make meaningful changes aligned with what matters most to them, especially during times of transition or stress.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use MBSR techniques to teach clients how to cultivate present-moment awareness and self-compassion. This approach is especially helpful for those managing chronic stress or overwhelm, enabling them to regulate emotions more effectively and find calm amid daily challenges

Trauma Informed Care

My work is grounded in trauma-informed principles, ensuring a safe, trusting therapeutic environment. I am skilled at recognizing trauma’s impact and tailor interventions to promote empowerment, resilience, and healing at a pace comfortable for each client.
