New to Grow
Each of us lives our story in chapters—some filled with joy, others with hardship, and many with the quiet in-betweens. As a therapist, I see my role as walking alongside people as they turn the page, helping them make meaning of the past while creating space for new beginnings. I believe we all hold the keys within us: keys to resilience, healing, growth, and self-understanding. I utilize a strength-based approach to treatment as well as incorporate various styles that suit your needs. My practice is grounded in creating a safe and supportive environment to create a healthier future while honoring the past.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, your current stressors, and any relevant history so I can better understand the full picture. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to feel or experience differently through therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything special — just come as you are. My priority in the first session is helping you feel safe, heard, and clear about next steps.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a safe, grounded space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I balance compassion with structure, helping clients feel supported while also gently challenging patterns that keep them stuck. I’m skilled at blending insight-oriented work with practical tools so clients leave sessions not only feeling validated, but empowered.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed by anxiety, past experiences, or life transitions and is ready to feel more in control of their thoughts and emotions. You may find yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, whether that’s overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling triggered by past events. I work with individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves and are open to learning practical tools while also doing deeper healing work. Using EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, I help clients process unresolved experiences, build coping skills, and feel more grounded and confident in their daily lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and restructuring maladaptive thought patterns while building adaptive coping strategies and behavioral change.
EMDR
I use EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It’s a therapy that helps your brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. Sometimes memories get ‘stuck’ in the nervous system, and EMDR helps your brain reprocess them so they feel less overwhelming and no longer trigger the same emotional intensity.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness into therapy, which means we work on learning how to slow down, notice your thoughts and emotions without judgment, and stay grounded in the present moment. Instead of trying to push feelings away, mindfulness helps you respond to them in a calmer, more intentional way.
Family Therapy
I have 5 plus year of experience working with Structural Family Therapy model to look at the family system as a whole. We explore patterns that are routed from generational patterns and how to have healthier communication and relationships with one another.
