Hello! Congrats on starting your therapy journey. I look forward to our sessions together. I am Hilary & I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Florida. I received my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2017.

First session
In our first session together, we will get to know each other. I will meet you where you are at on your "therapy journey." We will create a realistic treatment plan collaboratively. We will create short term and long term goals together. We will go over your expectations. This is your time.
Strengths
My greatest strength as a provider is that I am genuine and authentic. I truly believe we as individuals have the answers to our "problems." Being gentle and being supportive while providing my patients with a safe environment is another one of my strengths as a provider.
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with adults who are eager for some self improvement but may need some encouraging. I am best positioned to serve adults who may feel "stuck" due to current life adjustments or who may need new tools to reduce feelings of being overwhelmed.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach to therapy is always providing my clients with a safe & non-judgmental environment. My main treatment method is CBT. My approach to therapy is solution focusing & goal oriented while working at the clients pace. My approach to therapy includes providing clients with the appropriate tools, psychoeducation & coping techniques that will improve their overall mental health & well being.
