New to Grow
My name is Rebecca, I love warm weather, my two cats, yoga and visual arts. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression and trauma. I believe therapy can be an empowering part of growth and healing. My work integrates the connection between thoughts, emotions, and the body, helping clients learn to regulate stress, process experiences, and feel more grounded.
In our first sessions, we'll take time to discuss your goals and explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that prioritizes your comfort, autonomy, and sense of control throughout the therapeutic process.
Therapy is a collaborative process and a strong therapeutic relationship is key to growth. Using a humanistic and trauma-informed approach, I focus on understanding your unique experiences and helping you build self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, and a stronger understanding of the root causes of your distress.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical coping skills to support meaningful change.
Brainspotting
I use Brainspotting to help clients process and release emotional experiences stored in the body and brain. This approach supports deeper healing, increased self-awareness, and improved emotional regulation.
Humanistic
I use a humanistic approach to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and build self-awareness. This helps foster personal growth, self-acceptance, and meaningful change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients stay present and develop awareness of their thoughts and emotions. This supports emotional regulation, stress reduction, and more intentional responses to challenges.
Somatic
I use somatic-based therapy to help clients notice and understand how emotions are experienced in the body. This supports nervous system regulation, increased self-awareness, and healing from stress and trauma.
