About

As a therapist working with teens, young adults, and adults, I understand how exhausting it can feel when your mind never seems to shut off. I support clients in Connecticut and Florida in navigating depression, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem challenges, academic stress, peer conflict, and life transitions. Together, we build practical coping skills in a supportive, nonjudgmental space to help you feel more balanced and in control.

First session

I know searching for a therapist can be an overwhelming endeavor. I can provide you with a compassionate environment. If you're new to therapy, I can coach you through every step. If you're returning to therapy, let's tackle those new goals together. Need a therapist who can meet you where you're at? I can do that too. Let’s find our style together.

Strengths

My greatest strengths as a provider include my warmth, flexibility, and solution-oriented approach. These qualities help me create a supportive and adaptable therapeutic experience tailored to each client's unique needs.

Ideal clients

What truly ignites my passion is working with teens and young adults. I deeply value the opportunity to support individuals during some of the most formative and challenging stages of life. I am dedicated to helping clients build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life’s transitions. I help build greater confidence, resilience, and self-understanding in a supportive therapeutic environment.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my therapy practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help both teens and young adults. CBT is used to challenge negative thought patterns and develop healthier behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In sessions, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to teach clients skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This structured approach helps clients manage intense emotions and improve relationships.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my therapy practice, I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths and envision a preferred future. I guide them to set practical, achievable goals and focus on solutions rather than problems. This approach empowers clients to recognize their capabilities and resources to facilitate positive change.
