I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) specializing in anxiety disorders, including OCD, PTSD, phobias, and social anxiety. We'll discuss your current challenges, goals, and any relevant history, as I conduct a thorough intake assessment. This helps me understand your unique needs and tailor our work together. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and supported, setting the foundation for a collaborative, effective therapy process.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy

Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) is a treatment for trauma-related disorders, such as PTSD. It helps individuals confront and process traumatic memories in a safe, controlled way. By gradually exposing you to reminders of the trauma, PE helps reduce distress over time, allowing you to gain control over your memories and reactions. The goal is to decrease avoidance, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and help you live a more functional, fulfilling life.

Farah provides a safe, judgement-free zone where I can share my deepest thoughts and feelings. Her kindness encourages me to take a leap of faith, to allow her to truly see me, and therefore help me. She gives me new perspective on myself, and helps me work towards being the person, wife, friend, and daughter I want to be. Therapy isn't meant to be easy, but therapists like Farah make it a whole lot easier to do the hard work.
