My name is Lola and I am a doctoral-prepared double board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP/PMHNP). As a PMHNP with expertise in treating various mental disorders, my role is to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and more. I prioritize creating a safe and empathetic environment where individuals can openly discuss their concerns. Together, we work to set treatment goals, develop individualized care plans, and monitor progress. My approach is holistic, considering both psychological and physiological factors, and I am committed to empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to improve their mental well-being. With a strong focus on patient-centered care and collaboration, I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to mental health recovery. **Please note: I do not prescribe schedule 2 controlled substances and that includes ADHD medication. Also be informed that all appointment times will be in Central Standard Time (CST), please adjust your schedules accordingly**

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session with me as a PMHNP, clients can expect a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere, where their well-being and confidentiality are paramount. We'll begin by discussing their reasons for seeking help and their goals for treatment. I'll conduct a comprehensive assessment, which may involve questions about their mental health history, medical history, and current symptoms. This initial evaluation allows me to form a clear understanding of their unique situation and to provide an accurate diagnosis. Next, we'll collaboratively set treatment goals, ensuring that their preferences and concerns are at the forefront of the plan. I'll explain my treatment approach, whether it involves therapy, medication, or a combination of both, and address any questions or concerns they might have. By the end of the first session, clients can expect to have a personalized treatment plan in place, as well as a sense of partnership and support in their journey toward improved mental health.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
