Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In this modality, we will talk about how thoughts, feelings, and reactions all play a role in positive vs negative outcomes and how they affect us. We will identify thinking errors, reframe assumptions, and build skills to cope with stressors in a more helpful way.

Motivational Interviewing

In this modality, I will support you in setting goals you would like to achieve. I will assess your motivation for change, provide you with affirmations and reflective listening, and empower your autonomy and self-determinations. This modality can be challenging and rewarding. I am here to support you all the way.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

With a person-centered approach, you lead the therapy session by determining your goals or what you want to discuss. Change will happen as our therapeutic relationship grows. I will always be genuine, transparent, empathetic, and provide you with safety and support. I am here to help you reach your fullest potential! The person you've always wanted to be is at the end of this mental health journey!

Psychodynamic

In this modality, we will explore unresolved issues from your early childhood experiences. We will exam how the past influences your current behaviors and plays a role in your defense mechanisms. This modality can especially help when it comes to relationship problems.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This modality focuses on assessing and building your strengths and resources to achieve an established goal. Together, we will envision the outcome you want. I will give you feedback, and we will explore barriers that are getting in the way of maintaining the changes you've made for yourself.
