New to Grow
Hello, I’m Alisha. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s emotional challenges while creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, approachable, and easy to connect with. I understand that finding the right therapist matters. People want someone they can trust — a therapist who is honest, compassionate, skilled, and able to provide both emotional support and practical guidance. My therapeutic style is direct yet supportive, blending insight, accountability, and real-life strategies that promote lasting emotional and mental wellness. Together, we will focus on strengthening emotional regulation, developing healthier coping skills, shifting unhelpful thought patterns, and creating meaningful behavioral change. My goal is to empower you with the tools, confidence, and self-awareness needed to move toward healing, growth, and a healthier, more fulfilling life.
During your first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. This is an opportunity for you to openly share your concerns, goals, challenges, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I will also ask questions about your emotional health, life experiences, relationships, coping patterns, and overall wellness to gain a better understanding of your needs. My goal during the first session is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we will begin identifying areas of growth, discussing potential treatment goals, and exploring practical strategies that can support your healing and personal development. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I encourage honesty, openness, and active participation. You can expect a balance of emotional support, honest feedback, and real-life tools designed to help you create meaningful and lasting change.
My therapeutic approach is highly individualized, collaborative, and results-oriented. I understand that every client’s experiences and needs are different, which is why I tailor interventions based on what is most beneficial and effective for each person during the therapeutic process. I integrate multiple therapeutic modalities and evidence-based techniques, including mindfulness practices, grounding techniques, somatic interventions, emotional regulation strategies, and coping skill development to support emotional healing, self-awareness, and behavioral change. My goal is not only to provide emotional support, but also to equip clients with practical tools and strategies they can apply in everyday life. Clients often appreciate my balance of compassion, honesty, accountability, and real-life problem solving. In addition to therapy services, I also offer a structured 12-week anger management program designed to help participants build healthier responses, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop effective conflict-management skills. Upon successful completion, clients receive a Certificate of Completion.
I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, and major life transitions while empowering them to break unhealthy patterns and reclaim emotional wellness. My work also focuses on helping clients overcome limiting societal and cultural conditioning, strengthen coping skills, improve overall wellness, and align their lives with their personal goals and values. My therapeutic style is direct, compassionate, and results-oriented. I work with individuals who are ready for meaningful transformation, open to honest feedback, and committed to doing the work necessary to create lasting emotional and mental change. Together, we focus on practical solutions, deeper self-awareness, emotional healing, and sustainable growth.
