For the past 14 years, I have worked in settings where my therapeutic communication skills impacted client well-being. While starting my career as a psychiatric nurse’s aide, I began to see value in growing my skills with each client I encountered. I have a knack for identifying with others and a passion for mental health. By mixing my natural skills with a growing passion, I have been successful in providing effective treatment to my clients.
During the first session, we will get to know each other and learn from one another. I cannot adequately prescribe or refer you for treatment as a client until I know who you are as an individual. I want to understand where you're from and how each road in life lead you to this moment. That said, if we determine that our connection will not meet your needs, you will be referred to other providers on the Grow platform, or you may choose a different provider.

We will discuss the symptoms and standardized treatments, along with herbal options if desired, to ensure you are informed about your decision. You choose your care. You are not a bystander in this relationship. I appreciate clients who aren't afraid to tell me what does and doesn't work for them. Our relationship works best when we can both contribute to the plan. Shared decision-making is the goal. That being said, if the assessment does not align with the treatment you would like, we may need to revisit the plan or buffer our decision with coping skills, but I cannot offer a treatment that is not supported by empirical or clinical evidence. I can educate you on this topic, or we can involve your therapist.

My therapist has been wonderful to work with. She’s very knowledgeable about medications and takes the time to explain things clearly. Most importantly, she truly listens and offers genuine encouragement. I’ve noticed a real improvement in my mood and overall well-being since I started seeing her. I’m grateful for her support and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who really cares.
