Hi there, I'm Lilian. Do you feel overwhelmed by the multiple roles you juggle? Are you beating yourself up about not making time for the important people in your life or exhausted trying to do so? I want to empower people to manage anxiety and change the negative thought trains that are often barriers to battling depression. By working together, we can tackle problems, take small steps to achieve goals & celebrate the positive results! We'll use a strengths-based perspective, putting you in charge of this journey. I especially enjoy working with young adults or anyone going through life transitions & walking along with those dealing with the grief/loss of someone or a pet. Whether you're overwhelmed, experiencing relationship conflicts, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm ready to help. It's a brave first step to seek therapy and the changes you make will be worth it! I will treat you with respect & show compassion in combination with truth, and use evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the barriers that have kept you from moving forward in your life. I look forward to meeting you & working with you!
In our first session, I will go over the intake form you fill out & ask additional questions to expand upon what you wrote so that I can have a solid foundation of who you are from your background. We will also briefly discuss what you would like your first area of focus to be so that a treatment plan can be developed.
I have always been able to easily connect with people from various walks of life, especially those in the BIPOC group. I was born in India but raised in the States & have a desire to understand people from different ethnic backgrounds. My biggest strengths are the compassion I have & the importance I put on myself to be honest.
