About me

Hey there, I’m Chris! Do you feel like you’re giving everything you’ve got and still never enough? Maybe burnout, ADHD, Autism, or Trauma leaves you stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, emotional reactivity, or shutdown. It can feel exhausting to keep pushing forward when daily life, relationships, or work feel so overwhelming! You’re not alone. Many of my clients describe themselves as driven, perfectionistic, or “always on,” yet deep down they’re exhausted, misunderstood, and longing for things to feel easier. If you’ve been told to “just try harder” or “get it together,” I want you to know, there’s another way. I’m a licensed counselor with 21+ years of experience; I also know these struggles personally! Diagnosed w/ADHD at 36 & raising three kids with ADHD (one with Autism), I know how isolating it feels when the world wasn’t made for your brain or nervous system. I am compassionate & collaborative; clients say it feels like the first time therapy made sense. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing who you are; it’s about understanding yourself, building strategies that actually work for your life, and creating space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Online counseling for ADHD, Autism, and Trauma in PA, FL, & SC.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on what brought you here and what you want out of therapy. I’ll ask about what’s been weighing on you, what you’ve already tried, and what hasn’t worked. We’ll set a couple of small, doable goals so you can start feeling some relief right away. This isn’t about performing or saying the “right” thing. I show up as myself so you can too! If you’re unsure, skeptical, or overwhelmed, that’s completely ok. We’ll go at a pace that feels safe for. By the end, you’ll walk away with a clearer picture of what’s next and at least one tool you can use between sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

· I’m direct but kind. You’ll get honesty with compassion. · I give you tools you can actually use, not just insight. · I know ADHD inside and out. My 3 kids have ADHD (one with autism) and I was finally diagnosed at age 36. · I bring body-based and parts-informed strategies to help shift patterns that talking alone can’t touch. · I connect with people who’ve struggled to connect in therapy before. · I use humor and real talk. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical to be effective.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You’re smart, capable, and the person everybody else leans on, but often hear “you’d lose your head if it wasn’t attached.” Inside, you feel like you’re running on fumes. You might be juggling ADHD, trauma, perfectionism, or old patterns that just won’t let go. Maybe you’re a professional who can lead a meeting but can’t get yourself to start the pile of laundry or dirty dishes at home. A parent who loves your kid deeply but feels worn down by constant battles. A partner who wants closeness but pulls away when it finally happens. You’ve probably tried therapy before and felt like the therapist wasn’t listening when they gave you cookie-cutter “homework” that didn’t fit. With me, you get a therapist who’s real and practical. We’ll work on regulating our nervous system, strengthening focus and follow-through, setting boundaries, and loosening the grip of old stories. You don’t need to show up perfect. You just need to show up.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I pull in what’s useful from different approaches so we can create something that actually works for you. That might look like tools from Impact Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, DBT skills, EMDR strategies, or even Art and Play when words aren’t enough. I also bring in body awareness, parts work, and executive function coaching to help with ADHD and trauma. Think of it as building a toolkit that fits your life, not forcing you into a mold.

Before working with Chris, my attempts at talk therapy were unsuccessful - It often felt as though I was filling a time slot. I was drawn to her profile for her approach to therapy - She is genuinely here for YOU, and meets you wherever you may be. Her approach is compassionate, thoughtful, empowering, gentle, and above all else, realistic. I always feel welcome and safe during sessions with her, and I feel very blessed to be able to continue to meet with her for guidance and a good laugh.
