I have been a health professional for over 34 years. i call myself a Northern Bell because I was born and raised in the South but mover in my last year of high school to the Midwest. I still have my southern ways but with big city twist. I have 2 dogs and I am a new 1st time grandmother of 1 month old little boy. I enjoy family,exercise, being in nature and traveling.
Your 1st visit is a little longer than most due to intake information and understand medication needs or medical history of other illnesses. I will communicate with you concerning your family life, work or school life, any medical conditions, I will monitor your thought processes as well as review any medication you may be taking. You will have a detail educational teaching about new prescriptions or any interventions which need to be encouraged for your care plan.
Which me stand out from other is my compassion to go the extra mile. To keep client into the real world and not validate inappropriate behaviors. I set boundaries and give respect, so I expect respect. AI am a provider that goes the extra mile to find a solution and if I don't know the answer, we continue to collaborate with others to solve the answer.
I understand the working population who struggle with changes in position and cruel employees and the fear of feeling like you're going to lose your job. I also understand when an employer does not show compassion for your job and makes you feel like a number. I understand the feeling of getting older and gaining weight and it feels like life is passing you by. I understand about not like who I am. I am a human being and I know the up's and down's of being a relationship. I understand the effects trauma can bring into your life for a lifetime. I to understand the feeling of loss/ grief and the pain that feels like it will never end. I understand when fear is so high you can't read, write or think clearly but it results in you feeling sad, or crying. Whom do I serve as client 's are client who are aware that they need assistance in their life and who is aware that there is a relationship between the client and the provider to work together to achieve an outcome of better health in a respect matter A client is seeking help to manage their disorder and a client who will not give up but will work together to understand their body.
Listening is the first component to CBT, Understanding is the second all of the elements at are affecting the patient thought process/ or heighten emotional state. Then with the client's assistance we build a plan of care and ways to implement our treatment to produce an effect outcome for the client well-being.
