(she/her)
Hey, I’m Jocelyn. Are you feeling stuck or having a hard time reaching your goals? Maybe life feels heavier than usual, or you’ve been trying to push through but nothing seems to help. You don’t have to do it alone. I offer confidential therapy for adults and young adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, psychotic disorders, or just the ups and downs that come with being human. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up as yourself and start making sense of what’s been holding you back. I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 10 years, including residential treatment, correctional facilities, rehabilitation, and community mental health. For the past three years, I’ve been in private practice, helping clients reconnect with themselves, build confidence, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges. I also love helping people find the resources and supports they need to feel grounded and cared for. Therapy helped me through a tough time in my own life, and that experience drives my passion for helping others. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I deeply care about. I offer evening and some weekend appointments because I know life can be busy. Whenever you’re ready, let’s take that next step together and start creating the changes you’ve been hoping for.
In our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy and begin creating a plan that fits your needs and goals. I’ll review the intake documents with you and take some time to learn more about your mental health history, current challenges, and what you’d like to get out of therapy. This session is also your opportunity to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for what working together will be like. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported.
I’m easy to talk to and, above all, I value my clients’ comfort. I meet people where they are—no pressure, no judgment. I’m honest, professional, and down-to-earth, because I’ve found that genuine connection is the best way to help clients reach their goals and create real change.
I provide therapy to adults and young adults presenting with anxiety disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as depressive disorders. I have experience supporting women navigating racial stressors in the workplace, including experiences of discrimination. My clinical work also includes supporting individuals through significant life transitions, including adjustment to motherhood and reintegration following incarceration. I have experience working with clients addressing challenges related to reentry and adaptation to community and daily functioning. Additionally, I have experience working with diverse and minority populations across the lifespan, including both young adults and older adults.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
Clinically trained to provide this treatment. This treatment works great to aid in treating anxiety disorders. We will establish a plan and gradually expose you to your fears. This treatment is the golden standard of treatment for OCD.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been using CBT since I graduated from grad school in 2014. I utilize this method by helping clients challenge their thoughts. I assign therapy work as well.
Positive Psychology
I use positive psychology in session to help client's work on being present. I focus on strength based and gratitiude exercises in session.

SHE'S SO GOOD!!!! I'm so grateful she's my therapist. It literally feels like I'm talking to a friend who just happens to have the best perspective. But don't get me wrong, she's challenging me, but she's also says, "you got this...you can do the hard work."

Today was my first session and I was nervous at first because I didn’t know what to expect but Jocelyn was very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable in her presence. I look forward to working together on this new journey.

Had my first session with Jocelyn, and I couldn't imagine it going any better. She is authentic, and I can tell she is listening, interested, and engaged in our conversations. Jocelyn also explained and provided videos/articles for the type of therapy we talked about which really helps build a foundation in this process. I am really excited to continue this process with her.
