What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As your counselor, you can expect to be met with empathy and understanding. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their sense of self-worth and live a life of confidence!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a counselor is helping my clients identify the root cause of their struggles and creating a tailor plan to work through in follow-up sessions.

I specialize in working collaboratively with young adults (18-35) who struggle with anxiety to identify, challenge, and replace any unhelpful thoughts that have been holding them back!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts are very powerful and can hold the weight to complete distract us! CBT is a goal-oriented and collaborative approach that focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The way we think about ourselves and others is often related to internalized personal experiences; therefore, I aim to hold space for clients while we explore and make meaning of current thinking patterns. I enjoy utilizing this approach to demystify clients frustrations around the “why” of their current behaviors. Gradually, the hope is that my clients will gain the self-awareness to catch themselves while experiencing negative thoughts and learn to challenge, replace, and (eventually) change their relationship with their thoughts!
